What Happened

  • Due to a connectivity problem Whalebone DNS Resolvers were unable to download the latest full database updates (threat intel, allow/deny lists, regulatory lists, content, etc.). Real time threat intelligence flows were not affected.

What We Did

  • Resolved the underlying connectivity issues.
  • Confirmed resolvers are now pulling latest available database updates.

Current Status

  • Incident resolved; latest database updates are currently on the majority of resolvers.
  • Some database updates are still queued and will be processed within an hour.
