Occasional errors on Retail API

On December 12th, between 08:47 and 16:01 CET, we experienced intermittent errors affecting selected API calls to our Retail API (e.g., registering subscriptions or devices, and updating filtering settings).

During this period, some requests returned HTTP 504 (Gateway Timeout) responses. Retrying the affected API calls was required for successful completion.

The root cause was identified as high load on one component of the Retail service. The issue was resolved by redistributing the load across additional nodes.
